Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District
A sister agency to the Santa Clara County Open Space Authority, the Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District preserves and protects land as open space in Northern Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties.
East Bay Regional Park District
EBRPD manages over 90,000 acres and 65 regional parks.
90 percent of the District's lands are protected and operated as natural
parklands.
Santa Clara County Parks
The regional parks system in Santa Clara County has 28 parks encompassing nearly 45,000 acres.
Greenbelt Alliance
Greenbelt Alliance is the Bay Area's leading land conservation and urban
planning nonprofit.

The Bay Area Ridge Trail Council is the nonprofit organization that plans, acquires, builds, maintains, and promotes the Ridge Trail.
Bay Area Open Space Council
A collaboration of public and non-profit land agencies and organizations dedicated to providing regional leadership and expertise for the preservation and stewardship of open spaces in the San Francisco Bay Area.
EDUCATION
Youth Science Institute
YSI, an independent not-for-profit organization, is a leader in nature-based science education, engaging 30,000 pre-school through high school students annually in the wonders of science.
NATURAL RESOURCES
Natural Resources Database
The NRDB is a compilation of observations of flora and fauna made at open space and nature preserves in the greater San Francisco Bay Area. For a list of plants and animals that you may see along one of our trails, visit the Natural Resources Database at www.nrdb.org. Under “Simple Search” you will find a listing for the Boccardo Trail Corridor. This database was developed and is managed by private citizens. It is a great resource, not only for the Boccardo Trail, but many other park and open space lands.
San Francisco Bay Bird Observatory
The San Francisco Bay Bird Observatory is dedicated to the conservation of birds and their habitats through science and outreach, and to contributing to informed resource management decisions in the San Francisco Bay Area.
