Havana-Midfield Mariposa Park

City of San José

About the Project

The Open Space Authority helped to fund the City of San José’s project to construct a small community park at Midfield and Havana in East San José's Tropicana-Lanai neighborhood. The project included demolition, clearing the space, installing storm drainage, paving, irrigation, new landscaping, new play equipment, new fencing, new resilient rubber surfacing, benches and a park sign. This park invites families to spend time in nature in an inviting space close to home.
