Thrive2 is a youth-centered environmental health initiative that advances climate literacy, educational equity and climate action in underserved communities of East San José. The program responds to urgent environmental challenges while empowering the next generation of leaders by equipping students of color with the knowledge, tools and confidence to understand local climate hazards, address their impacts, and engage in meaningful solutions. Thrive2’s impact extends beyond the classroom. As students gain skills and confidence, they become catalysts for change - elevating community awareness, promoting healthier living environments and strengthening neighborhood resilience.
