Join the Open Space Authority for an engaging evening hike to explore a Coyote Valley property not yet open to the public. The walk will be a gentle 0.5-mile climb up a lovely spiral trail, ending in a beautiful 360 view of Coyote Valley.

Join the Open Space Authority remove invasive weeds from to Santa Teresa Foothills. This protected land was burned in 2020, and afterwards an invasive species, stinkwort (Dittrichia graveolens), invaded the burned area. Volunteers will be working with staff to pull out the stinkwort before it blooms, so we can reduce further spread into the habitat. No experience required!

In honor of Transit Month, the Open Space Authority invites you to utilize public transportation to access an exclusive hiking destination! Take the Route 68 bus line followed by a self-paced hike at Spreckels Hill where docents will share fun facts about the preserve and local wildlife.
Join the Open Space Authority for a moonlit, four-mile guided hike at Coyote Valley Open Space Preserve. Participants will ascend the Arrowhead Loop Trail at golden hour, watch the sunset with a 360-degree view of Coyote Valley and descend once the moon is shining bright.

Assist the Open Space Authority with the removal of stinkwort from the Laguna Seca dam! By removing this invasive species, you'll help restore native grasslands around this historic wetland and reduce hazards for wildlife. No experience required!
Join Peninsula Open Space Trust (POST) and the Open Space Authority for a special bicycle tour in Coyote Valley! This ride will cover approximately 17 miles on mostly flat terrain and visit several important features that make up the Coyote Valley Conservation Area, including Laguna Seca, Fisher Creek, Coyote Valley Open Space Preserve and Coyote Creek.
