Everyone is always welcome at our free community events, hikes, and educational activities. Check back frequently for announcements and changes to our event schedule and register when required. Also check our Tips and Guidelines for what to wear and bring with you.

Due to the Santa Clara County Public Health Department’s shelter in place order, the Open Space Authority has canceled all in-person docent-led and volunteer events until further notice.

Because the Authority strongly believes that connecting people to nature and outdoor open spaces is more important than ever, it will be providing interactive virtual nature events to attend from the comfort of your own home. Please sign up for these events below or visit our virtual events page to sign up for events by our partners or watch past events.

At this time, the Authority's Sierra Vista, Coyote Valley, and Rancho Cañada del Oro open space preserves will also remain open for the public to enjoy our preserves in a safe and healthy manner. Please visit our Conditions and Safety webpage for information on visiting our open space preserves during this time.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us at info@openspaceauthority.org.
