Assist the Open Space Authority to plant native wildflowers and grasses at the staging area of Máyyan 'Ooyákma – Coyote Ridge Open Space Preserve. We will be continuing our work to restore native plants and reduce the spread of invasive species to ecologically sensitive areas of the preserve.

Join our introductory training for new volunteers! Our Winter 2026 edition of Interpretive Host Training features two parts. The January 10 session will cover agency mission and vision, roles and duties and using interpretive techniques for public facing volunteer roles. The February 22 session will focus on Máyyan 'Ooyákma – Coyote Ridge Open Space Preserve, a springtime wildflower destination!
Don't miss this unique birding experience! The Santa Clara Valley Bird Alliance will be leading an enchanting hike at Rancho Cañada del Oro Open Space Preserve and helping attendees spot and identify native birds. All birder levels are welcome!
