The Open Space Authority is proud to join Children's Discovery Museum of San Jose to celebrate freedom, culture, and community at their Juneteenth celebration!

Join us at Rancho Cañada del Oro Open Space Preserve to help remove an old fenceline as part of an ongoing habitat restoration project series. Volunteers will work outdoors alongside Open Space Authority staff to help restore the land while enjoying beautiful scenery and engaging in meaningful hands-on stewardship work. This project will make it easier for animals to travel across the land and offers a unique opportunity to hike through a hillside area of the preserve that is not yet open to the public.
