MEASURE Q: OPEN SPACE, WILDLIFE HABITAT, CLEAN WATER AND INCREASED PUBLIC ACCESS
Voters Show Overwhelming Support for Open Space
On November 4, 2014, voters passed Measure Q with more than the required 2/3 majority of the vote. Measure Q is a $24 annual parcel tax that will generate approximately $7.9 million per year. All funds will be spent in the cities of San Jose, Milpitas, Santa Clara, Campbell and Morgan Hill, and the unincorporated areas of the County.

The Open Space Authority is excited to welcome Marc Landgraf as the new External Affairs Manager. In this role he will develop new public, nonprofit and private funding opportunities and conservation partnerships to support the Authority’s mission of preserving open space lands in Santa Clara County.
December 14 and 27 Contribute to this important annual project sponsored by the Audubon Society while enjoying the great outdoors in the Authority's beautiful open space preserves. Observe rare wildlife in areas of the preserves normally closed to the public.
