Coyote Ridge Open Space Preserve featured on NBC's OpenRoad with Doug McConnell

Tune in this Sunday to watch OpenRoad, where Doug McConnell will interview our very own Andrea Mackenzie on Coyote Ridge Open Space Preserve.

Doug will also join our docent on a hike up the ridge to see the beautiful wildflowers in bloom and gaze across the valley floor. He then talks with Stu Weiss who has helped to protect the Bay checkerspot butterfly that currently thrives on Coyote Ridge. You won't want to miss it!

Sunday, May 1 on NBC Bay Area at 6:30 p.m.

The California Strategic Growth Council awarded Santa Clara County and the Open Space Authority a $100,000 grant to create a regional policy and plan to protect agricultural lands and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Coyote Valley's farms and wildlife linkages are featured in the Winter edition of Edible Silicon Valley—see page 38.
